Classroom Teacher - Foundation (commencing 5th November 2025)

This is a maternity leave replacement for the remainder of 2025, with the potential for continuing employment into 2026 for the right candidate. Role Description / Criteria

This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join our supportive and dynamic staff for the final five weeks of the 2025 school year.

Whether you are moving to the Peninsula, returning to the profession, or beginning your teaching career, this position could be the perfect fit. Successful applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to:

  • build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • implement contemporary, research-informed teaching and learning practices
  • use data effectively to improve student outcomes and enhance student wellbeing
  • work collaboratively within a team to ensure a high quality education for every student
  • support the Catholic ethos, school vision and strategic plan of the school

The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration and accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or be willing to obtain this accreditation) and must have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

Salary and conditions are implemented according to the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement (CEMEA) 2022.
