Job Description

Wood is currently sourcing an experienced Painter / Trade Assistant to support a new project at the Iona Gas Plant in Port Campbell.

We are looking for candidates with a strong commitment to safety, who enjoy working in a team, are self-motivated, and can prioritize work to meet deadlines.

To be considered, applicants must have full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for a skilled and motivated Painter / Trade Assistant.

Location: Port Campbell - site based

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years' experience in Oil & Gas
  • Painting experience
  • Ability to follow and apply good HSE principles and behaviors
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with Work Area Permit Systems
  • High attention to safety, quality, and team collaboration

The successful candidate will undergo medical and background checks and will be required to provide certificates and tickets before medical assessment.
