Armidale Hospital, located in the heart of the picturesque Northern Tablelands, is a 99-bed facility offering a comprehensive range of acute medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatrics, diagnostic, and allied health services. As a valued member of our stroke team, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Your days will include monitoring recovery, supporting rehabilitation, managing complications, and teaching patients and carers about stroke prevention and recovery. Working closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll empower patients and families through education and personalised care, ensuring smooth transitions back home.

• Proven ability to provide patient-centered, evidence-informed care.
• Effective time management and clinical prioritisation skills.
• Capacity to educate patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
