Responsibilities
  • Specimen reception and registration
  • Sample processing and preparation
  • Preliminary culture plate reading and basic result reporting

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of laboratory investigations and tests (manual and automated) applying established methods; undertake other duties including materials prep and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
  • Minimum qualification: Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent with relevant subjects; include official academic transcript
  • Knowledge and experience delivering pathology services within relevant discipline; experience with Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Systems
  • Ability to work responsibly, manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously; strong customer focus and interpersonal skills; good oral and written communication
  • Quality management and continuous improvement mindset
