About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Assistant (Accounts Payable) supports the wider Finance team by ensuring accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliations are completed and delivered timely and accurately.
The role also contributes to the continuous improvement of internal processes and assisting with process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable including set up new suppliers, processing invoices, handle staff reimbursements, supplier account reconciliation and managing weekly pay run or ad hoc urgent payment requests.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve any banking discrepancies from online and stores.
- Reconcile business credit cards statements for all departments on a monthly basis.
- Prepare the monthly key accounts spending summary report, such as events, shoot, travel etc.
- Assist with the month-end process, including the expense accrual list.
About You
- Business Degree, with a major in Finance or Accounting.
- Ideally previous experience in Accounts Payable.
- Sound computer software skills, including Excel (Vlook ups and pivot tables) and accounting system.
- Ability to work efficiently within strict deadlines.
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
