AgriWest is a specialist supplier of rural merchandise, agronomic inputs and livestock productivity advice and has been servicing farmers and the local community since 1988. We currently offer an exciting opportunity for a driven and customer-focused Casual Merchandise to join our Robertson AgriWest branch for approximately 20 hours per week, which may include ½ day on Saturday's.

About The Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst:

Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods

Assisting customers with pricing and product queries

Processing counter sales

Maintaining safety processes

Assisting with merchandise campaign material

Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment

Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries

You'll also have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:

Experience working within a sales environment

Effective written and verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships

Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
