The Position
We are searching for aQuality Managerwho will be responsible for:
- Establish effective Supplier/Subcontractor kick-off process and manage the review of quality deliverables and documentation
- Ensure Supplier/Subcontractor fulfil their quality requirements
- In conjunction with appropriate project staff and project designers, establish and implement effective design management processes
- Monitor receipt of work as executed documents are as specified and reviewed by appropriate personnel
- Monitor the timely and effective closure of all project quality audit findings
- Actively participate in and drive a culture of collaboration, discipline, innovation, adaptability to change and care
- Ensure safety and sustainability are always front of mind
- Lead by example by promoting a positive work health and safety culture
- Promote a positive work health and safety culture; lead by example.
- Skill in quality management system, planning techniques and tools
- Skill in quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and development and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of the Project
- Skill in data gathering and statistical and trend analysis
- Skill in conducting and interpreting audits results and reviews
- Quality auditor with proven experience in auditing design consultants with the Project
- Skill in interpreting the Project related documents and preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation
- Skill in identifying quality improvements to systems, processes and/or products
- Skill in monitoring, reviewing, reporting and continuous improvement on performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance
- Advanced skills in relevant computer software packages and supporting Quality management information systems
- Skill in supporting stakeholder groups and the Project within area of responsibility
- Ability to conduct one on one coaching and assessment
- Expert understanding of incident investigations and reporting
- Knowledge of Quality Management System, relevant IMS procedures and AZ/NZS ISO 9001; Understand whole-of-business issues as they apply to Quality systems at all levels.
- General knowledge of other management systems and procedures, e.g. Environmental Management Systems and AZ/NZS 14001:2004 and/or OH&S Management Systems and AZ/NZS 4801:2001.
- Ability to identify where specialised help is required regarding statutes or relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of auditing and compliance reporting procedures and processes
- Knowledge of project management structure, plans and implications for quality and accountabilities
- A general understanding of the technology and systems that records management
- Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management., or;
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
- Project Management (small projects) over 5 years' experience
- Quality Management 3 to 5 years' experience
- Risk Management practices 2 to 3 years' experience
- Audit Management practices 2 to 3 years' experience
- Quality management system, techniques and tools
- Data collection
- Statistical and strategic analysis
