Happy Haven OSHC is a South Australian-owned and operated company managing 47 OSHC services across the state. We are an Approved Provider with an expert team capable of running outstanding OSHC programs on school sites.
The Relationship Manager is responsible and accountablefor the overall management and success of12-15 services under their direction. The goal of the Relationship Manager is tocollaborate with Service Leaders and school Principals and foster a cohesive team environment where families and service contacts feel supported and valued.
About the role:
Support the Operations Manager to deliver Strategic Plans on time and on budget.
Transparent reporting on relevant actions identified in the Strategic Plan.
Adhere to all policies and assist in the development and review of associated procedures.
Develop and maintain position descriptions and performance reviews for Service Leaders that align with organisational values and strategic plans.
Effectively manage and appropriately delegate to all service leaders.
Respond to and action any issues that arise in the delivery of quality services to children and communicate actions as per established procedures.
Listening to and addressing stakeholder concerns.
Facilitate regular hub meetings, ensure action items are recorded and delivered.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with School Principals and Governing Councils.
Strengthen the relationship between educator teams and the families and children in our care.
Assist in identifying quality service leaders and the recruitment of educators.
Support service leaders to build high functioning teams and accountability.
Support team leaders to build trust between educators and families by implementing communication tools as identified in the Strategic Plan.
Improve the recording, reporting of interactions and associated actions/outcomes with and between service leaders, School Principals, governing Councils and administrative staff.
Ensure compliance with, adherence to and reporting on Licence and Service Agreements (LSA).
Make recommendation for action to Governing Councils to best accommodate demand and enable service sustainability.
Work with the Communications Team to identify promotional opportunities for service utilisation, recruitment and community engagement.
Requirements:
Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships with client contract managers
Experience managing multi-site teams (rural experience beneficial), and a willingness and ability to travel to services within your remit
Experience dealing with complaints that have been escalated from initial inquiries
Confidence working with Site Managers to set and achieve goals, and manage underperformance
Financial / business acumen
Contribution to building positive reputation among all key stakeholders and assisting with identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
History of involvement dealing with Quality Assurance and Compliance
Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations (required)
Good references from previous employment
Refined computer skills, and advanced skills in MS Office Suite
Hold or willing to obtain a valid Police Check (required)
Hold or willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (required)
Hold or be willing to obtain Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RHHAN-EC) certificate (required)
Current valid Driver's Licence (required)
