Job Title: Service Desk Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an up and coming Service Desk Specialist to join our team due to sustained growth. This person will work closely with Senior team members to manage both infrastructure and cloud environments and deliver outstanding service to companies throughout Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily management of the IT Service Desk including client interaction and resource coordination (Circa 10-15 tickets per day).
  2. Involvement in systems implementations / upgrades and hardware roll-out projects.
  3. Installing, maintaining and supporting Windows Servers & operating systems.
  4. Strong skills in supporting major cloud platforms & physical servers.
  5. Configuration of firewalls, routers, switches and wireless access points.
  6. Supporting Office 365.
  7. Building and maintain remote access environments (Citrix / RDS / VPN).
  8. Provide a high level of customer service and attention to ensure SLA's are met.

About You:

  1. You are passionate about forging a career within the IT industry and have (or are working towards) a degree or relevant IT qualification.
  2. You ideally need to have 1-2 years of entry-level experience within a generalist Helpdesk or IT support role and are ready for career progression.
  3. You are a team player with a 'can do' attitude.
  4. Critical to your success will be your communication skills, you will be proactive and engaging in your style and have a customer-centric work ethos.
