Overview

Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Icon Theranostic Centre Hollywood - Nedlands, WA

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Icon Group is expanding theranostic services into Western Australia. Our new Icon Theranostic Centre in Hollywood will provide the latest Molecular Imaging technology in WA, including Siemens Biograph Trinion PET/CT and Siemens Symbia Pro.specta X3. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join this pioneering journey and contribute to clinical trials and research initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT, diagnostic CT and therapeutic radionuclide administrations.
  • Operate radiopharmacy equipment and ensure quality control of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and clinical research.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold radiation safety standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to education and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking ForEssential:
  • Tertiary qualification in Applied Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia / AHPRA
  • Eligible for licensing with the Radiological Council of WA
  • Experience in nuclear medicine and PET/CT
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to continuing professional education and innovation
Desirable:
  • Experience in Theranostic services and radionuclide therapy
  • Clinical trial research experience
  • Proficiency in contrast-enhanced diagnostic CT
  • Experience in student supervision and education programs
