Service Desk - IT Skills Enhancement & Career Relaunch Program

Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

Client: Global leader in Cloud and AI solutions; on-site opportunity at client's Canberra office


Overview: This is a permanent opportunity to join a 12-month Capacity Uplift Program with potential to transition into a permanent engagement after completion. Counsel and coaching will be provided throughout the program, with on-the-job training.

We are ideally looking for candidates who have the following experience
  • You hold Australian Citizenship
  • You have prior experience in the professional workforce and are considering a career change or returning to work
  • You have a strong technical aptitude and want to grow within the dynamic IT space
  • You have ideally held an IT role such as Service Desk, Help Desk, Service Management or Testing
  • You have ideally worked within Federal Government
  • You are based in Canberra or are willing to relocate to Canberra for the long term

Responsibilities during the 12-month Program
  • Work on-site with our client to support a breadth of Federal Government IT work in Canberra
  • Support a close-knit team across existing business areas

About the Program
  • You will be part of the LeadersIT 12-month Capacity Uplift Program with the goal of transitioning into a permanent engagement after completion
  • Throughout the program, you will work with industry-leading coaches and mentors and receive on-the-job training

Security Clearance

Due to security requirements, candidates must be Australian citizens, ideally already holding a Federal Government security clearance or willing to go through security vetting.
