Join Gold Fields as a Mechatronics Engineer Vacation Student for hands-on mining experience and professional growth in Western Australia.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Participate in tailored mentoring and technical development programs
  • Receive role-specific training at one of four operational mine sites
  • Collaborate with an international team of experienced professionals
  • Work on an 8 days on, 6 days off Fly in Fly out roster from Perth, or residentially based in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Students currently in at least their second year or above of Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar tertiary qualification
  • Holders of a C Class Manual Driver's License, or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
  • Exposure and/or experience in a mining environment is highly regarded
  • Tech-savvy, quick learner, and team player
  • Comfortable working in remote locations; underground experience is a bonus but not essential
