About the Organisation:

About the Role:

As the Senior Security Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in protecting the organisation's infrastructure and information systems. You'll proactively identify vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and implement robust security controls across on-prem and cloud environments.

You'll work closely with the Head of Cyber as a trusted second-in-command, helping to drive technical projects. Whether you're a Security Analyst ready to step up into an engineering role, or a Senior Security Engineer looking for a better work-life balance, this is a role worth exploring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integration and hardening of Microsoft products, ensuring a balance between usability and security.
  • Manage Active Directory, Microsoft configurations, and conduct proactive threat hunting and analysis.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents with remediation and root cause analysis.
  • Support ongoing cloud migration initiatives from a security perspective.
  • Lead and contribute to BAU and project-based infrastructure/security work.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations and IT to maintain secure and reliable systems.

Experience and skills needed:

  • Deep experience across the Microsoft security stack, including experience with Active Directory, configurations, and threat hunting.
  • Cloud security experience (Ideally Azure)
  • Broad infrastructure and networking knowledge
  • Ability to securely integrate Microsoft products, not just enabling user settings.
  • Strong communicator who can lead and manage projects end-to-end.
