Summary: We are currently seeking a passionate English teacher to join our College community on an temporary full-time basis from Term 1 2026. This position is a 9 month maternity leave cover.

About the opportunity:

We are seeking a Secondary English Teacher who is an enthusiastic, talented professional able to bring innovation and creativity to their learning area.

The successful applicant will:

• Have the ability to teach Stages 4 to 6 English.
• Demonstrate a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of college life.
• Be a lifelong learner who is committed to ongoing professional learning.
• Lead the development of social skills and nurture the growth of enterprise skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student.
• Integrate digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning.
• Demonstrate understanding of curriculum and best practice pedagogy.

Qualifications and accreditations:

• Current Working with Children Check clearance.
• Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Tertiary Qualification in Education/Teaching
