An opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Operator to join our close knit Adbri Masonry team in Nowra. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality masonry products and contributing to our ongoing success as a market leader in the industry.

We offer successful candidates comprehensive masonry product training, tailored to connect your current skills and knowledge to our industry. This full-time, permanent position works a 4-day working week from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 6am to 6pm. There is also the possibility of overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
  • Follow correct work procedures at all times
  • Operation of forklifts for the movement of goods to/from the work area
  • Quality Assurance and packaging of outgoing goods
  • Ensure yard and inventory is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Following established procedures for documenting and/or reporting work performed, hazards and incidents
  • Support the production team including general labouring duties and basic machine operation
  • Basic maintenance of forklifts, plant and equipment in the work area
  • General housekeeping and cleaning

  • Self-motivation and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to communicate confidently and work in a team
  • Mechanical aptitude (highly regarded)
  • Ability and desire to multiskill and perform various production role tasks
  • Forklift High Risk License (highly regarded)
