The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-level security and customer service duties
  • Completing security logs and documentation
  • Responding to alarms and emergencies
  • Conducting internal and external patrols of the asset, including the building, carpark, and surrounds
  • Providing asset protection
  • Responding to incidents, investigating, and reporting accurately
  • Fire Warden duties
  • Addressing car park-related issues

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, motivation, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team, preferably based in Mount Isa.

To qualify, you must hold a current QLD Security License with a Crowd Controller component and a First Aid certificate.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Current Security License
  • Control Room License (highly regarded)
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Impeccable presentation
  • Flexibility for rotating shifts, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
