- Making recommendations and providing high quality, professional and concise advice to the Council and CEO on matters arising from the pharmacy business licensing scheme
- Exercising delegated legislative decision-making functions as required, and
- Providing leadership and support to a team of licensing and compliance officers responsible for reviewing and assessing large volumes of applications and notifications under the Act and provide guidance on the management of complex issues arising from these matters.
To be successful in this position, you will have proven ability to provide strategic direction and leadership and build high performance teams within a complex system and organisation. The role will require a detailed understanding of risk management, strategic direction and the challenges of service delivery within a regulatory context.

You will also have demonstrated experience in complex regulatory and/or licensing environments including regulatory decision-making. You will be adept at operating in a complex and dynamic environment, and able to navigate through ambiguity to take and lead varied responsibilities with a positive attitude.
While not essential, a relevant qualification (e.g. law, business, management) would be well regarded.
