Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Quality Technician to join our dynamic product development team. The Quality Technician will play a critical role in ensuring that all Voltex products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and suppliers to identify defects, implement corrective actions, and maintain product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA processes to ensure the quality of products across the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough product testing, including functional, performance, and durability tests, to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to design test plans and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues by analysing product failures and defects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for electrical products.
  • Work closely with suppliers to monitor production quality and drive continuous improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis of product failures and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test results, defect reports, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in regular cross-functional team meetings to review quality performance and suggest improvements.
  • Provide QA reports and metrics to management to track quality performance over time.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in QA or a similar role, preferably in the electrical products or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and tools.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Familiarity with electrical product standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with ODM suppliers and managing quality control in outsourced manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with QA tools such as test automation software.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
