Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic
We are seeking expressions of interest for an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team providing maintenance services across Defence bases in Queensland. You will play a key role in completing corrective maintenance requirements to deliver high-quality outcomes supporting our essential services.
What You'll Do- Perform preventive and responsive maintenance on air-conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical ventilation systems as per the EMOS contract.
- Service and repair chillers, BMS, and chilled water systems.
- Maintain and repair split systems, ducted and package systems, and ventilation systems.
- Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including display cabinets and cold/freezer rooms.
- Represent Downer in all interactions with internal and external contacts.
- Support innovation within the team.
- Contribute to condition assessments during your duties.
- Qualified Refrigeration Tradesperson with relevant trade registration and licenses.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Current first aid certificate (preferred).
- Post-trade experience in a commercial and maintenance environment (preferred).
- Proven ability to respond to and meet customer needs.
