This role will see you increase listenership of ABC Radio National content by producing, publishing and distributing content for use across digital platforms including web, newsletter, social, video, the ABC listen app.

You'll create a range of digital, video, audio and social media content using new and emerging formats to reach new audiences and deepen digital engagement with ABC Radio National.

You'll enhance stories with multimedia elements including video packages, shareable images, interactive elements and social collateral. You'll also script, shoot, edit and package video content for digital distribution, ensuring output is optimised for target platforms and audience behaviours.

About You

To excel in this position, considerable experience working in digital/social media roles including developing and executing strategic, creative and effective content and campaigns across a range of platforms, informed by relevant analytics.

With strong writing skills and reliable editorial judgement, you'll also have familiarity with copyright, licensing and other legal considerations relevant to digital publishing.

You're a strong communicator, with excellent time management skills as well as the ability to

juggle multiple content deliverables and meet deadlines.
