Join Our Team at Bingara Gorge Fun Club - Second in Charge (2IC). Location: Bingara Gorge Fun Club. Employment Type: Fixed Term, Part-Time - February 2026 (30 hours/week, Monday - Friday).

Right now, we're looking for a Second In Charge Educator for our Bingara Gorge Fun Club, and OSHC service located within our Bingara Gorge Community Preschool. This is an opportunity to work during Before and After School Care as well as Vacation Care, Monday to Friday (30 hours per week).

What you'll do

As Second In Charge Educator you will provide quality care and education to school-aged children while incorporating your ideas and expertise to create a fun-filled environment. You will build respectful and lasting relationships with parents and carers, as well as your fellow educators. You will have the chance to contribute your own ideas and experiences into the programmed activities, and work with the Director to implement them. You will be responsible for ensuring the service complies with Big Fat Smile policies and procedures and all components of the National Quality Framework and Child Protection Legislation while collaborating closely with your Director.

What you need to succeed

• A cleared valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Diploma of Children's Services or related qualification (desirable)
• Identify and Respond qualification (or willing to obtain)
• Strong understanding of the NQF, My Time Our Place, and what quality looks like in OSHC
• Eligibility to be a Responsible Person, and readiness to embrace the role of Educational Leader
• Experience as a support worker, SLSO, OOSH Educator/2IC, or engagement with school-aged children
• Outstanding communication skills with families and the community
