About the Role

Based on the Gold Coast (or an option for Remote Work), this role offers the chance to work on some of Australia's most exciting and innovative drone programs. You'll serve as a Chief and Senior Remote Pilot for our clients, ensuring operational compliance, delivering training, and providing expert support to help programs thrive.

You'll be hands-on in the field, contributing to compliance oversight, operational leadership, and the creation of training content to support ongoing remote pilot development.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Chief Remote Pilot or Senior Remote Pilot for client ReOCs
• Provide operational and compliance guidance to clients
• Develop and deliver RPAS training, inductions, and competency checks
• Conduct flight operations, trials, and equipment evaluations
• Create and maintain operational documentation (SOPs, training manuals, policies)

Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a CRP, Senior Pilot, or similar (civil or Defence)
• Strong knowledge of CASA RPAS regulations and operational approvals
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• IREX or pass in BVLOS OCTA exam
• BVLOS flight experience
• Experience in remote operations
• Vocational training experience (e.g., Cert IV Training & Assessment)
• Experience with RPAS compliance software (e.g., AVCRM)
• Up to 25kg Multirotor or Powered Lift RePL endorsements
