Our Adelaide-based Water Utilities team is a vibrant, high-performing group dedicated to delivering sustainable and forward-thinking solutions. We're seeking someone who can bridge the gap between junior engineers and experienced Principal Engineers, fostering collaboration, mentoring others, and learning from the best in the field. This is a technical role where you will deliver the design and documentation of earthworks, pavements, drainage and pipelines. About the role Joining us as an Design Engineer or a Senior Engineer, you will * Deliver high-quality civil designs throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion, while maintaining a strong understanding of other disciplines. * Prepare and review accurate, industry-compliant technical documentation (knowledge of WSAA, SA Water Standards, or Australian Standards is a bonus). * Take charge or assist in managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects or program work packages. * Exceed client expectations and achieve outstanding feedback through exceptional service. * Assist in writing proposals to secure exciting new projects. * Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on large-scale infrastructure initiatives. About You * A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent). * Actively working towards professional chartership. * 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in water infrastructure. * Possess technical knowledge in earthworks, stormwater, pavements, drainage and pipeline design. * Keen interest in mentoring junior engineers and building technical capabilities within a team. * Skilled in developing and managing client relationships. * Familiarity with legislation, standards, guidelines, and project specifications, with a commitment to safety in design. * Strong knowledge of quality assurance and health and safety systems.
