We're looking for a motivated Financial Services Officer to join our dedicated team supporting NDIS-funded participants.

We're seeking a motivated Financial Services Officer to support NDIS-funded participants by managing trust accounting and claims processing in a purpose-driven environment.

Part-time 0.6. Preferred working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

About the Role

  • Process all financial transactions, including AR, AP, invoicing, and GL entries accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain and reconcile resident trust accounts, monitor transactions, and manage debtor accounts.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and activity reports to the Public Trustee, guardians, and families.
  • Review, assess, and process financial claims.
  • Conduct investigations to substantiate claims, including data gathering and inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, answer inquiries, and resolve issues.
  • Prepare regular claims activity reports, identify trends, and suggest improvements.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in financial processing, claim management, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and large client management systems, with strong/advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in the NDIS sector, with a good understanding of NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, is highly desirable.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
