Greencross Vets Livingstone Road is a busy little clinic looking for a passionate and professional Receptionist to be the friendly face greeting our clients every day

This is a full-time role greeting our furry friends, answering busy phone lines, and scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians - ensuring every pet and owner feels welcome, informed, and cared for

What We're Looking For
  • Customer-facing experience with animal industry background
  • Exceptional communication skills - verbal, written, and digital
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask under pressure with a calm, compassionate demeanour
  • Confident with scheduling systems and basic account management
  • A team player with a genuine passion for animal care
  • Cert II or III not essential but would be advantageous

The Role
  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with the veterinary team
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information on our services
  • Handle client check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Manage electronic and paper files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
  • Assist with general office tasks, including filing and data entry
  • Address client concerns and provide support in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area
