Responsibilities:- With minimal direction, provide professional health services that include assessment, formulation, counselling, therapeutic intervention, case management, consultation and referral as required.
- Develop and deliver group therapy programs and therapeutic interventions for clients in Hyson Green Day Program.
- Consult and liaise with other health professionals and external agencies to ensure ongoing support for patients during their recovery.
- Undertake administrative duties including preparation of reports, maintenance of records, and provision of regular statistical information as required.
- Participate in staff training opportunities and provide in-service training to other staff as appropriate.
- Contribute to the work of a multi-disciplinary team in order to meet the goals of Hyson Green Day Program.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology.
- Professional registration with AHPRA to practice as a Psychologist.
- Appropriate clinical experience, including demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment, therapeutic intervention, group work, case management, and case work.
- Evidence of Group work is essential for this role.
