Overview

Working with one of our major food producers, known for feeding families across Australia, you will contribute to the team as a Forklift Driver (Day Shift, Monday to Friday) Level 3 Hort Award with a casual rate of $31.05 per hour.

About the Position:

  • You will unload containers of stored materials
  • Act autonomously to achieve unloading and storage goals
  • May involve stacking and/or loading pallets
  • Quickly address and resolve mechanical issues to keep operations smooth and running efficiently
  • Work closely with coworkers to meet production targets and uphold safety standards
  • Support and contribute to a proactive WHS environment, operating within company safety and health requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience operating a forklift safely and effectively
  • Strong focus on maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks
  • Demonstrated safety record
  • Proficiency in English language and numeracy
  • Ability to follow guidelines and instructions
  • Good communication skills for positive contribution, issue reporting, and team coordination
  • Knowledge of operating safely in an agricultural environment and adherence to WHSE requirements
  • Reliable transport to work, as public transport is unavailable near the location
