Marketing Analyst (New role based in Kuala Lumpur)Marketing Analyst (New role based in Kuala Lumpur)

The Marketing Analyst will support in conducting market analysis and developing marketing strategies to drive business growth in Asia. The role will research into different industries and identify addressable gaps, translating insights into opportunities for Watlow. The role requires skill in influencing and leveraging relationships across the organization including Watlow's business units, our sales force and partner network, product management and market research.

** Prefer from those from Semiconductor, oil and gas, power, renewable energy industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, analyzing market trends, competitive landscape and profiles of customers of different segments;
  • Identify target segments and key potential customers in each segment complete with estimates of volume potential;
  • Translate data into insights to inform marketing strategy for Asia;
  • Assist in developing value proposition that resonates with the target market;
  • Involved in the Marketing Communication as well;
  • Manage assigned projects, working across the organization to achieve project goals within timeline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or engineering;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B market analysis, preferably in the industrial sector;
  • Fluent in Malay, Mandarin and English;
  • Experienced with market research/analysis and data interpretation;
  • Understand trends and best practices in the Asia market;
  • Understands the value proposition of the organization and the inter-relationships needed to achieve it;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
