Established in 1896, Adelaide University Sport and Fitness is the umbrella body for 40+ sporting clubs which provide and promote the best possible sport and recreation environment for the university community. We are the driver for sport and fitness at the University of Adelaide via its clubs, on campus gym (Fitness Hub) and other programs including University Basketball League.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Digital Marketing and Engagement Coordinator to assist with the following key priorities:

  • Lead day-to-day internal and external communications activities for AU Sport and Fitness.
  • Lead and drive AU Sport and Fitness digital presence through various social media channels.
  • Lead and drive AU Sport and the Fitness website management through development of content, strategy and style in line with brand guidelines.
  • Support the delivery and evaluation of external AU Sport Corporate Events.
  • Be an active participant within the AU Sport Team and contribute positively to our inclusive and community-focused culture at Adelaide University.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is the key point of contact for Adelaide University Sport affiliated clubs to contact for marketing and promotional support and will be a hands-on support to the Marketing and Communications Manager.

An ability to work independently using initiative and creativity are important skills to be successful in this role, along with excellent communication skills both verbal and written. A high level of organisation and relationship building is also critical. This role requires someone with experience in a similar digital marketing or content development role, with exceptional proficiency in email platforms such as MailerLite or Mailchimp, and strong data management and segmentation skills.
