As a leading provider of cleaning services within the industrial cleaning sector, Menzies is expanding its team. We are seeking passionate, qualified, and enthusiastic cleaning team members for our BlueScope Steel / Port Kembla contract.

Menzies provides cleaning services to various industrial clients nationwide, including GM3, Western Power, Energy Australia, Synergy, Rio Tinto, and others.

About The Role

We are currently seeking full-time cleaners to work at BlueScope (Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am).

Responsibilities may include:

  • Detailed cleaning of public areas, including offices, facilities, and washrooms
  • Switch room cleaning
  • Amenities cleaning
  • Spot cleaning, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming
  • Mail service delivery
  • Cleaning external areas, toilets, and walkways
  • Understanding of WHS requirements
  • Compliance with company procedures
  • Responding to scheduled and ad-hoc customer requests

Additional experience in the following areas is desirable:

  • Floor stripping and sealing
  • Buffing and scrubbing hard floors

Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

All applicants must be willing to undergo and pass police checks, medical health checks, and drug and alcohol testing as conditions of employment.

Applicants who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents must provide proof of work entitlement and any restrictions.
