Intuit's Finance team plays a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic, financial, and operational leadership. Our team consists of finance, accounting, supply chain, corporate strategy & development, and tax professionals who support and enhance Intuit's operating efficiencies.

The Senior Finance Business Partner (Internal title: Principal Finance Analyst) position supports the Go-to-Market teams through strategic and insightful business analysis and overall business partnership. This role will be the primary Financial/Business partner to the Business Unit leader, supporting the team in delivering plan and forecast commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to Business Strategy for APAC Sales & Marketing by developing priorities based on robust analytics and business direction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the APAC senior leadership teams, proactively highlighting risk and opportunities related to business growth and optimal investment decisions or outcomes, and providing business modelling and what-if scenarios.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing teams to lead forecasting and business analytics that drive short, medium, and long-term decisions in investment and outcomes.
  • Lead and influence across the Finance organization, reporting to the Head of Finance, and drive investment decisions that result in desired ROI and business acquisition costs for Sales & Marketing initiatives.
  • Evaluate sales channels, web & e-commerce platforms, and other ways to drive business growth using sound commercial acumen.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a qualified financial analyst and accountant with strong analytical skills and an innate commercial understanding. You should also have experience acting as a business partner, supporting and challenging non-finance stakeholders. As this role involves frequent interaction with senior non-finance stakeholders across the business, you must possess the confidence and emotional intelligence to effectively communicate at all levels.

Minimum Requirements
  • Hold a Qualified CPA/CMA certification or equivalent.
  • Possess an Undergrad Business Degree (BBA/BCom) and/or MBA.
  • Hold 5+ years of post-qualified experience in roles supporting business decision-making.
  • Knowledge of SaaS/Cloud Computing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to provide insights and support based on sound analytics that drive business performance.
  • Influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions, and business outcomes.
  • Lead teams to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.
  • Exceptional track record of self-motivation, prioritization, initiative, and integrity.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to business partners and senior executives with confidence, conviction, and credibility.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Hyperion EssBase experience is preferred, along with the ability to model and analyze complex business scenarios.
