Key Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

Providing pastoral care and fostering student wellbeing.

Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

Supporting students' individual learning needs and academic progress.

Participating in school events, professional learning, and team initiatives.

Selection Criteria

Relevant teaching qualifications and QCT registration (or eligibility to obtain one).

Classroom teaching experience in Primary or Secondary settings (or recent practicum for graduates).

Demonstrated ability to support student wellbeing and learning diversity.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Commitment to upholding the Islamic ethos, values, and practices of the College.

Willingness to contribute to the development of inclusive and high-quality teaching programs.

About the College

The Islamic College of Brisbane (ICB) is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, independent growing school, located on the southern outskirts of Brisbane in the suburb of Karawatha located in the South East Queensland region. We are a community-centered college adhering to Australian values and virtues which are underpinned by the inclusive Islamic ethos of equality, respectand humility in producing self-directed and proactive learners and citizens.
