Diverse Asset Maintenance Services (DAM Services) delivers property maintenance and arborist solutions to residents and businesses in the Mackay region since 2012. We specialise in tree care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, commercial cleaning, and more. We are expanding and looking for talented individuals to grow with us. Qualified Arborist (Full-Time or Part-Time, Including Semi-Retired Opportunities)

Role: As a Qualified Arborist, you\'ll handle tree removals, pruning, stump grinding, wood chipping, and health/safety assessments on residential and commercial properties, including emergency storm response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform safe tree climbing, cutting, and removal using industry-standard equipment
• Conduct tree health inspections and provide reports
• Collaborate with ground crews for efficient project completion
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Qualified Arborist certification (Cert III or higher)
• Experience in tree care and machinery operation
• Valid driver\'s license
• Chainsaw, EWP & ESI tickets a plus
• Physically fit and safety conscious
• Semi-retired applicants welcome for part-time roles

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Schedule: Flexible, including full-time or part-time options

Role specifics: Ground crew member and truck driver supporting tree maintenance and removal operations; outdoor labor and transportation of equipment/debris.

Key Responsibilities (Ground Crew Role):

• Operate MR-licensed trucks for transporting teams, tools, and materials
• Assist arborists with ground support, including chipping, cleanup, and site preparation
• Load/unload equipment and ensure safe hauling of wood/stumps
• Maintain vehicles and tools in top condition

Requirements:

• Experience in outdoor labour or arboriculture preferred
• Physically strong with a team-oriented mindset
• Basic knowledge of safety gear and procedures

Salary: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with potential for overtime during peak seasons

All-Purpose Handy-Person (Full-Time or Casual)

We\'re seeking versatile handyman for a variety of home and commercial maintenance tasks. With a large book of work and reliable clients, this role offers diverse work from repairs to general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general minor repairs, painting, fencing, and assembly work
• Handle garden tidy-ups, pressure cleaning, and basic landscaping
• Respond to client requests for odd jobs and maintenance projects
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or in trade-related roles
• Own tools and reliable transportation preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in a team

Salary: Competitive, based on experience (full-time or casual rates)

Schedule: Flexible, with opportunities for casual or ongoing work

Office Cleaner (Part-Time / Flexible Shifts)

Provide professional cleaning services for commercial offices and properties in Mackay. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe environments for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean offices, including dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and waste removal
• Handle specialized tasks like carpet cleaning (training provided)
• Follow cleaning schedules and client specifications
• Report any maintenance issues spotted during shifts

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial or office cleaning preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Valid working rights in Australia

Pay: $800 – $1,200 per week (depending on hours and experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday; morning, day, afternoon, or evening shifts available
