What you will do
  • Run group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes tailored to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Conduct assessments of residents' needs in line with aged care standards and ANACC guidelines.
  • Perform post-fall interventions and document accordingly to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Deliver ANACC Pain Management Programs, including one-on-one treatments, exercise interventions, and group sessions.
  • Implement and regularly update rehabilitation exercise programs to enhance residents' physical wellbeing.
  • Communicate effectively with a team of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to coordinate holistic treatment plans.
  • Provide manual handling training and ensure competencies are delivered and maintained.
Skills needed
  • A degree in Physiotherapy is essential.
  • Ideally, you will have experience in the residential aged care sector.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with clients and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent communication skills are vital for this role.
  • A valid police check or NDIS worker screening check is required.
  • A valid driver's licence will be necessary for travel between facilities and client locations.
