Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solution Analyst at Opasa in Melbourne, VIC. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced analyst to join our dynamic team.

Employment type: Full time permanent/contract

Key Accountabilities

Acting as a lead solution analyst should be able to gather requirements for various projects and provide ongoing support to the project team to ensure requirements are satisfactorily delivered.

1.Gather and understand technical requirements through meetings and workshops with other Telstra groups impacted by the project.

2. Assist in documenting the requirements and review to ensure they are complete.

3.Proficiency in Jira and Confluence tools.

4.Ability to understand architecture and the design of the solution for requirement traceability and to ensure the solution performs as expected.

5.Also assist with testing to ensure that the solution meets the requirements.

6.Identify, resolve, and/or escalate all issues that threaten the successful delivery of assigned initiatives.

7.Good time management and ability to successfully juggle multiple projects at the same time.

8.Good stakeholder management and ability to form good relationships with various stakeholders to manage their expectations and ensure their requirements are met.

9.Assist in documenting business processes, development of internal documentation and generating reports.

Core Capabilities / Technical Skills

Core skills

•Proven experience with Jira and confluence

• Proven experience with agile based technologies and proficiency in writing user stories

•Understanding in Hbase, Spark and Elastic Search an advantage as well as some basic Linux skills

•Excellent verbal and written skills

•Problem solving – ability to investigate and propose solutions to problems including data analysis

•Assist with reporting
