Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site General Practitioner role located in Newcastle, NSW. The General Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary and continuing medical care for patients, examining patients, prescribing treatments, and referring patients to specialists as needed. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and promoting preventive care and healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree and FRACGP
  • Experience in primary care and family medicine
  • Strong clinical skills, including patient examination and diagnosis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and multidisciplinary setting
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning
