We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Suitable applicants, under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge, would be responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. This includes but is not limited to maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as handling tasks like dusting and rubbish removal. Vacation cleaning duties may involve deep cleaning or targeted activities such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, and pressure cleaning verandas.

Suitable applicants should have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You should be organised, honest, reliable and punctual, and have well developed knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning practices and methods.
