We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team, a collaborative and inclusive environment known for its genuine commitment to employee well-being.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the finance function across a wide range of responsibilities, contributing to monthly reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with preparation of monthly management reports and variance analysis
  2. Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  3. Process monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments
  4. Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  5. Assist with the preparation of annual reports and audit requirements
  6. Monitor and analyse overheads and other cost centres
  7. Contribute to transactional finance processes including Accounts Payable, Receivable, and reconciliations
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or accounting all-rounder role
  2. Exposure to a large ERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  3. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
  4. CA/CPA part-qualified or working towards (highly regarded but not essential)
  5. Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
  6. A proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to learn and grow.
