Overview

Backpacker Couple/Team – Hotel All-Rounders (Live-On-Site). We are looking for a motivated couple or team to join us at Lake Central Cairns and help run our busy hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity for travellers who want stable hours, on-site accommodation, and the chance to experience everything Far North Queensland has to offer.

Responsibilities
  • Front Office / Reception – guest check-in/out, reservations, customer service
  • Housekeeping – cleaning rooms, linen management, ensuring high standards
  • Maintenance / Handyman Tasks – basic repairs, pool & general upkeep
  • Gardening & Grounds – keeping outdoor areas tidy and welcoming

About You

  • Positive attitude, reliable and able to work as part of a team
  • Flexible and happy to help across different areas of the hotel
  • Current working rights in Australia (Working Holiday Visa welcome)
