Grounds Keeper

Overview

UGL Industrials have an opportunity for an experienced Grounds Keeper working within our asset and facilities maintenance team based on a heavy industrial site in the Stanwell / Rockhampton region.

This position is a residential role with no living away from home provisions or facility for non-local employees. Applicants from the local region are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Join a highly experienced team with a reputation for delivery and working together with our customers to develop and provide solutions.
• Physically demanding duties which may include shoveling, sweeping, hosing in a hot and dusty environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience working in a similar role or heavy industrial environment
• White card
• Driver's licence – MR required
• ACDC Spraying licence preferred but not essential
• Experience working with zero turn mower, pole and chain saws and slashing
• Working at heights certification within 3 years preferred but not essential
• Confined space certification within 3 years preferred but not essential
• A safety focused attitude
