We're looking for a passionate and experienced Services Coordinator to join our team at Cooma Challenge, a regional community-based organisation supporting people with disability and the frail aged across the Monaro–Snowy Mountains region.
About the RoleIn this role, you will oversee and co-ordinate care and support to individuals living with disability and the frail aged across the Monaro-Snowy Mountains region. You will supervise, lead, and co-ordinate the service delivery teams who provide support across a number of NDIS and Aged Care programs, across multiple locations.
This is a key role operational role within the organisation, with a focus on providing guidance and support to team leaders. You will work closely with your team to ensure delivery of services in line with care plans. A commitment to the development and growth of staff is critical, so this role would suit someone who has an aptitude for coaching and guiding others.
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and funding frameworks is an important aspect of the role. You will also ensure service quality is monitored and areas for improvement addressed.
About You- Considerable experience in the disability, aged care, or health industries in a service delivery leadership, supervisory or co-ordination role.
- Tertiary qualifications in a human services field, and (ideally) qualifications in management/leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong relationship-building skills.
- Solid negotiation skills.
- A strong commitment to the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities and the frail aged.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Self-management skills to prioritise and manage time effectively, recognise and maintain professional boundaries, and reflect and learn from experience.
- Sound working knowledge of NDIS, Aged Care and other Standards, as well as regulatory requirements relating to the sector and employment requirements.
