About the role:

As a Graduate Engineer at Origin, you'll be part of a team playing a vital role in powering our future, supporting the energy transition while contributing as a leading gas producer for both Australian and international markets.

Beginning in February 2026, you'll embark on a transformative three-year journey, marked by hands-on learning, role rotations, comprehensive training, mentorship, and exclusive development prospects, shaping your career trajectory.

You'll be empowered to work in a variety of roles across the business in both site and office-based environments, providing a strong technical foundation and experiences outside of your core discipline.

What you will bring
  • We're looking for innovative and adaptable graduates with degrees in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Petroleum, Mechatronics, or Civil.
  • Ideal candidates will be proactive problem-solvers, clear communicators, and strong collaborators who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy applying technical knowledge to real-world challenges.
  • You'll be eager to grow your engineering expertise across diverse projects and contribute to Australia's energy transformation and sustainable future.
  • Graduate roles are primarily based in Brisbane, with opportunities to gain experience in both office and operational sites.
  • You must hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency (PR) to be eligible for this opportunity and be available to start full-time work in February 2026.
