DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export in Port of Brisbane.

The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing, and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy, procedure, and external regulations.

Your typical day at DSV:

  • Ensure export sea consignments are processed to meet customer expectations and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the Export team to ensure quality and accuracy of work
  • Carry out export workflow processes according to management directives, customer instructions, SOPs, and requirements
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and service providers locally and overseas
  • Resolve export issues with stakeholders including airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers
  • Accurately enter data into CW1 in a timely manner
  • Plan and prioritize export shipments using the Export Workbench to meet milestones, KPIs, and deadlines
  • Calculate costs such as invoices, GST, and assess weights and measures related to load sizes and space availability
  • Support the Senior Team Lead & Manager with daily activities and other tasks as required
About you:
  • Experience with invoicing is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with excellent customer service, proactive problem-solving, and responsive support abilities
  • Proven experience in export logistics, with knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and shipping requirements
  • Cargowise One knowledge and experience
