Join the Warren Health Service team, where we are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work in our Emergency Department. This role is pivotal in providing expert knowledge and high-level clinical services, ensuring the effective management of patient health in accordance with national legislation and regulation.
As a Nurse Practitioner in our team, you will autonomously perform advanced physical assessments, interpret diagnostic investigations, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will be vital in leading clinical practices, initiating research, and providing top-tier education and mentorship to your colleagues.
Ideal Candidate
- Must hold current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Extensive clinical and professional experience within emergency care, showcasing expert knowledge in advanced patient management.
- Strong leadership skills, able to work collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrable analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement initiatives, influencing positive organisational and cultural change.
- Understanding of safety, risk management, and evidence-based practices for patient-centred care.
- Advanced knowledge of contemporary nursing practices and national healthcare standards.
- Provide expert clinical care, including advanced assessments, diagnosis, treatment initiation, and medication management.
- Foster collaborative relationships within the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Lead quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance clinical standards and patient safety.
- Mentor and provide clinical leadership to nursing staff, supporting their professional development.
- Ensure compliance with national safety and quality standards while managing patient flow in the emergency department.
