The Role

Reporting to our CAD Manager, you'll join our diverse team, drafting residential and light commercial structures, stormwater management, remedial works, and civil infrastructure plans. As a Junior Draftsperson, you'll work closely with the engineers and understand engineering mark ups and convert them to construction-level detailed plans and sections.

This role is ideal for someone eager to build technical skills, expand their knowledge of construction materials and methods, and contribute to delivering high-quality projects that meet client needs and regulatory standards.

What You'll Bring

• Proficiency or developing skills in AutoCAD and/or 2D CAD drafting.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct errors.
• Willingness to learn new methods, technologies, and industry practices.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills for working with team members and external stakeholders.
• Relevant drafting qualification (TAFE or equivalent) or currently studying.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and construction processes.
• Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards (desirable but not essential).
• Any prior work experience in drafting, construction, or engineering is an advantage.
