The Role

To support our harvest season, our Kwinana Grain Terminal are seeking team-orientated and safety-minded Plant Operators on a casual basis.

This role is responsible for ensuring grain is received, stored, loaded, and moved in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.

At the Terminal we are responsible for the exporting of WA Grain to international destinations.

Our Operations run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we may have available opportunities to work weekdays, nights or weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring grain is received, handled and maintained within receival standards
  • Ensuring grain loaded on export vessels is correct, free of contaminants and within specifications
  • Maintaining a high standard of hygiene across the site
  • Receiving instructions for the collection, preparation, testing and storage of grain samples; and
  • Maintaining a safe working area for all employees and customers

Willing to undertake and acquire basic machinery skills and experience
