Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist role at Alexandra District Health. 0.4 EFT (16 hours per week) - negotiable. Permanent Part Time.

ADH is the major health service within the Shire of Murrindindi, providing medical and surgical care in a wide range of specialties, as well as multiple Primary Health programs. You will work both as an independent clinician and within a supportive multi-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate adult OT services for the Murrindindi Shire; the role includes work with community clients and inpatients at ADH's acute facility within the catchment area. Tasks include home modification, equipment prescription and rehabilitation in the community.

• Plan, implement and evaluate adult occupational therapy services for residents of the Murrindindi Shire.
• Deliver services to both community clients and inpatients at ADH's acute facility; include home modification, equipment prescription and rehabilitation in the community.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and work as an independent clinician when appropriate.

• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board Australia via AHPRA.
• Current Driver's license.
• Flexible approach to working and a passion for supporting wellness and reablement in the community.
• Flexible days and hours available if required.
