Cyber Security Engineer/Analyst

This role offers the opportunity to step into a key position where your expertise in cybersecurity will directly support the protection and resilience of complex global IT systems.
As a Cyber Engineer/Analyst, you'll join a high-performing team focused on defensive cyber operations, incident response, and continuous improvement of security frameworks.
This team is passionate about cyber threat detection and works in a collaborative, high-security environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving cybersecurity systems, including log ingestion and use case development.
Key responsibilities include performing security analysis on event logs to detect and counter anomalous activity, supporting incident response, remediation, and threat-hunting efforts, and creating and maintaining cybersecurity playbooks and technical documentation.
To be successful in this role, you'll need at least 3 years' experience as a Cyber Security Analyst and/or Engineer, with experience managing SPLUNK or equivalent SIEM infrastructure, knowledge of log ingestion from hybrid platforms (Azure & AWS), and strong communication and documentation skills with a team-focused mindset.
Please note that due to the nature of this environment, candidates must have a current Negative Vetting 1 or above clearance.
