A Day in the Life
A fantastic brand-new opportunity to join our high performing Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) team as we revolutionize the field of cardiac mapping with the launch of Affera. As a Senior Electrophysiology Mapping Specialist, your clinical guidance and technical expertise is valuable for driving business growth and delivering best possible outcomes to our customers.
Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. It focuses on disrupting and leading the market with advanced ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and conventional electrophysiology products.
The role reports into the Mapping Specialist Manager and will provide technical, clinical and sales support in collaboration with the sales team within the region or assigned territory to support the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera), the Pulse Select PFA system, and all products within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions portfolio.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
- Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
- Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
- Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS products.
- Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
- Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
- Serve as a regional champion to share your experience and influence others to be proficient in the mapping technology.
- Minimum requirement is High school diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 4 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation is desirable.
- Interstate travel required up to 25%, valid driver's licence and your own transport is required
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures in order to operate as a technical support expert.
- Demonstrated knowledge of 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
