The Role:

Support the Service Manager in Day-to-Day Operations

This is a fast-paced, hands-on support role where you'll assist in organising, scheduling, and communicating service tasks across a busy marine workshop. You will work directly with the Service Manager, contractors, clients, and team members to ensure projects stay on track and clients stay informed.

Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting project management of annual services and general repairs.

Assisting in quoting and sourcing materials and service requirements.

Coordinating bookings, travel lifts, hardstand arrangements, and parts.

Liaising with marinas, shipyards, and contractors as directed.

Helping manage schedules, work orders, and timelines for the service team.

Using systems like SimPRO to assist with documentation and invoicing.

Communicating updates to clients, ensuring clear and professional service updates.

Assisting with warranty protocols and documentation where required.

What We're Looking For

Preferred: Marine industry or boat building background

Strong coordination and organisational skills.

Friendly and professional communication style – both written and verbal.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and support the team effectively.

Some experience in marine, automotive, or trade service coordination is an advantage.

Comfortable using job management software (e.g., SimPRO or similar).

A proactive and team-oriented mindset – ready to jump in and support wherever needed.
